Installed potable water facility, developed play ground and volleyball court and sponsored inter school volleyball matches at Karawila Pemananda Vidyalaya, Moneragala.
5S training and HIV AIDS awareness workshop was held at the Karawila Pemananda Vidyalaya in the Moneragala district.
Presented uniforms to Netball team of Nissanka Jathika Pasala in the Moneragala district.

Distributed story-books, paints, glue, pencils, blackboards and other teaching aids as well as cupboards for classrooms to Kekulu, Dimuthu and Nakkala pre-schools in the Moneragala district.
Swings and see-saws were also constructed and shoes were presented to students from needy families.
A three day residential training program was conducted for pre-school teachers in the Badalkumbura area.
The children play area in the Panthiya Ladaru Uyana (pre-school) in Mathugama was developed. School bags, uniforms and educational equipment were also presented to the children.
Fully equipped children playground was developed for Artigala Vidyalaya in the Colombo district.

Input materials were provided to Mrs. Udula Kumari of Badalkumbura to set up a plant nursery. Technical training on nursery set up and upkeep was also provided.

Supported cultural events during the local New Year festivities in April 2008 in the Moneragala and Kalutara districts.

Health and eye camps were carried out for farmers in the Moneragala District and free spectacles were distributed. Basic medical aid and nutritional supplements were provided.
